Green Window Washing
There are many ways to wash windows. Let's focus on a Green way:
· Washing windows is a great way to freshen your home or office.
· Solvents that harm the environment are not necessary to wash windows.
Two simple earth friendly solvents to keep ready for window washing are; 32 oz of water and 4 or 5 drops environmentally safe dish liquid. Keep this in a re-usable spray bottle. Fill another re-usable spray bottle with 3 parts vinegar and 1 part water.
The dish liquid mixture should be sprayed on first, to loosen any tough, greasy, dirt and grime. Follow that with a spray of the vinegar mixture and wipe off with a clean, absorbent, lint-free cloth. No paper waste for our landfills, no harsh chemicals to harm our environment. Just simple and clean, washed windows.
Fresh washed windows to take a relaxing gaze out of, can take some of the stress out of your day!

Clean the Coffee Maker
Every once in a while you have to clean the coffee maker. Though you may believe it is clean there are deposits inside like lime scale and minerals can that mess up the great taste of your coffee. The cleaning process is quite simple and for the coffee connoisseur you will notice the difference right away.
There are actually several different methods that you can use to clean the coffee maker. A tried and true method is to run white vinegar through the system, followed by a pot of clear water. Don’t laugh folks! It really does work. This is a trick I learned from my grandmother.
Follow these steps to clean the coffee maker and you’ll be glad you did!
1. Fill the urn with 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water
2. Place a filter in the basket
3. Pour the water into the coffee maker just as if you were making a pot of coffee There will be a vinegar small that will permeate the room. It won’t last long and you can open a window for ventilation.
4. Throw away the filter. Notice the amount of sediment in it!
5. Run a pot of clear water through the system to rinse it. In fact, it may be a good idea to run a second pot through as well.
It depends on the quality of your water, but cleaning like this about once a month will keep that cup of java tasting great, and the time taken to clean the coffee maker is well worth the effort!
